Nuclear Engineering
Diego’s research is focused on the optimization of graphite
moderator material used within a core of a molten salt
reactor. Diego is from San Antonio Texas and is currently
pursuing a degree in nuclear engineering and a minor in
mathematics. Outside of research, Diego loves going on
hikes, enjoys chess, and is on the Texas A&M Triathlon
team.
Logan Price

Chemical Engineering
Logan’s research consists of modeling tellurium diffusion into nickel chromium alloys that cracks the material. He is from Houston, TX and enjoys mountain biking as well as gaming in his free time. Logan is class of ’23.
Lauryn Reyes

Lauryn’s research is focused on fission product cracking in stainless steel. She was born and raised in Texas and is an upcoming senior at Texas A&M University. Her hobbies include playing tennis, reading, and cooking new recipes.
Kimberly Zabava

Kimberly is contributing to research on purifying salts for use in molten salt reactors. Kimberly is a senior at Texas A&M University and expects to graduate in Spring 2023 majoring in nuclear engineering and minoring in materials science and engineering. Kimberly enjoys creating art, gardening, and playing board games in her free time.
